Bridget the Podiatrist
I changed professions at the age of 29 because of lower back problems. I graduated at the Wessex School of Podiatry in 1992 with a Diploma in Podiatric Medicine. I spent 22 years working part time for the NHS gaining a wealth of Podiatrist skills, including the management of diabetic foot ulcers.
Bridget’s Nursing Experience
At the age of 18, I trained for 3 years to become a State Registered Nurse (SRN but now known as RGN) at Poole Hospital.
I gained a lot of experience in the following specialities:
- Care of the Elderly
- Orthopaedics
- Urology
- Nephrology
- Leukaemia
- Bone Marrow Transplants
- Kidney Transplants
